Archbishop Alter Library Lily Mural

This collaborative project showcases the talent and creativity of our students, transforming the space with its stunning design. Athletic Hall of Fame

Located within the Centennial Field House, the Athletic Hall of Fame honors the remarkable individuals who built the 麻豆传媒映画’s storied sports tradition. Each year during Homecoming weekend, the University hosts an induction ceremony and dinner to recognize these legends. It is a proud celebration of excellence that unites alumni, families, and the entire MSJ community.

Commencement Applause

One of the 麻豆传媒映画’s most moving traditions occurs during Commencement as faculty and staff form a tunnel of applause for new graduates. As students process toward the ceremony, they are cheered on by the minds and hearts who guided them. This celebratory two-line arrangement marks the emotional transition from dedicated student to proud 麻豆传媒映画 St. Joseph alumnus.

Cicada Mural

Merging science with artistic innovation, the MSJ Art Guild created this street-art-inspired mural featuring a prominent cicada design. The project celebrated the arrival of Brood X, using acrylic paint to blend entomology with contemporary style. This permanent installation showcases the collaborative creativity of our students. Exam Jam

Finals week is challenging, which is why the 麻豆传媒映画 hosts a special late-night breakfast tradition each semester. From 8–10 p.m., students can take a much-needed break from studying to enjoy a free meal with friends. This comforting event provides the perfect opportunity to refuel and recharge before tackling those final exams and papers.

Lion Sculpture

Located in front of the Centennial Field House, the dynamic bronze lion sculpture, Catamount honors the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati. As a guardian of the 麻豆传媒映画, this female lion celebrates the University’s legacy as the region’s first Catholic women’s college. Today, students continue the cherished tradition of rubbing the lion’s nose for good luck and success.

MSJ Adirondack Chair

The iconic entrance sign at Delhi and Neeb Roads serves as a welcoming gateway to our historic campus. Adorned with seasonal flowers and the University’s gold lettering, it marks the beginning of the student journey. This landmark is a familiar sight that signifies home for the thousands of Lions who have entered our gates.

MSJ Fight Song

The MSJ Fight Song is the heartbeat of our campus spirit and athletic pride. Whether at a home game or a university celebration, the "Blue and Gold" lyrics unite students, alumni, and fans in a shared chorus of victory. It is a timeless tradition that brings the energy of the Lions to life.

MSJ Letters

Seton Center Fountain

Located at the Seton Center Visitor Lot, this tranquil fountain offers a peaceful welcome to all who enter campus. Its blue basin and streaming water provide a focal point for reflection amidst the bustle of the academic year. It's probably no surprise it even attracts a few feathered visitors for a drink throughout the day.

St. Joseph Statue

A sacred treasure of our community, the statue of our school patron stands tall within the MSJ Campus Quad. Flanking the Mater Dei Chapel, Saint Joseph serves as a central icon of faith and protection. He is widely recognized as the patron saint of fathers, families, and workers, watching over our campus legacy.

The Art Sculpture

This corten steel sculpture was completed in the late 1980s as a senior thesis project by a Fine Arts student. Working alongside her grandfather to weld the piece, the artist created a lasting installation that resists rust and stands as a testament to the creative mentorship and technical skill fostered at the University.

The Motherhouse

Established in 1852, the Motherhouse represents the historic foundation of the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati and our university's mission. Located just up the road, this beautiful building houses the Immaculate Conception Chapel and lush grounds. It stands as a powerful symbol of the service and prayer that underpin the 麻豆传媒映画’s Sisters of Charity values.
