Congratulations to nine faculty on their tremendous achievements!
On Dec. 9, 2025, Provost Dr. Steve Almquist, on behalf of Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» President Dr. H. James Williams, delivered promotion and tenure letters to nine faculty who have earned promotion and/or tenure. The Office of the Provost thanks the members of the Promotion and Tenure committee, chaired by Drew Shannon, for their diligence and dedication to the process. Also, a huge thank you to Dean Darla Vale, Ph.D. who helped review the Professional Track faculty.

Swati Chopra, promoted to Associate Professor with tenure in the Department of Creative Arts;

Michaelann Kelley, promoted to Associate Professor with tenure in the Department of Creative Arts;

Jane Ashby, had already achieved the rank of Professor, and was granted tenure in the Reading Science program in the School of Education;

Megan Dinnesen, promoted to Associate Professor with tenure in the School of Education;

Thomas Palmer (TP), promoted to Professor with tenure in the Department of Exercise Science & Integrative Health;

Eric Schneider, promoted to Associate Professor with tenure in the Department of Physical Therapy;

Erin Sizemore, promoted to Professor with tenure in the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences.
The Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» also offered congratulations to two of our professional track colleagues on their promotions from Instructor to Assistant Professor:

Emily Buckley, promoted from Instructor to Assistant Professor in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences;

Teresa Groh, promoted from Instructor to Assistant Professor in Physician Assistant Studies.
