The war in Ukraine has brought incalculable suffering and loss to the nation of Ukraine. It has also disrupted the college education of many Ukrainian students. Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³», through its partnership with a university in Dnipro, Ukraine, has been working with several high-achieving Ukrainian students who are proficient in English on a variety of projects. While working on these projects, several members of the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» community have developed relationships with these students, some of whose stories are featured below. To assist these students and their peers in completing their education, the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» has established a Ukrainian student relief scholarship fund. The Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»’s goal is to raise scholarship support funding that would enable high-achieving Ukrainian students facing disrupted education to complete their studies at our university.

Meet Helena and Alyona

Hello, I am Helena and I’m from Kherson, Ukraine. Since childhood, I've had a big passion for three areas: linguistics, business, and IT technologies. At the moment, I am fluent in English, German, Russian, and Ukrainian, and am also studying Korean, Polish and Italian. At the same time, I am developing IT and entrepreneurship skills: I got a grant for IT courses at MINT Academy. I am also taking different online courses to develop more skills. I have also designed a concept for a mobile application with leading Ukrainian specialists as part of a UNICEF social entrepreneurship project. Generally, I always get inspired by exploring something new and unusual for me. Helena Dnipro University of Customs and Finance
